This merchandise, due to its nature, is shipped from the Miami warehouses by air once a week, on Thursdays, as it requires a specific procedure and documentation for its acceptance in air shipment.

According to F.M.C. (Federal Maritime Commission) federal safety regulations, as of July 30, 2004, to ensure adequate protection against hazards to life and property, all merchandise considered Hazardous Material must obtain a special permit for transportation, which must be by sea.
